NEARING COMPLETION

The Future Home of the Department of Landscape Architecture

The Gray Design Building, formerly the Reynolds Building, is set to become the new home for the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment's Department of Landscape Architecture, as well as UK's College of Design and the College of Engineering's F. Joseph Halcomb III, M.D. Department of Biomedical Engineering design studio.

Located at one of the most prominent entries into the city of Lexington, students will learn together in a 21st-century, polycultural environment. With this building, we are laying the groundwork for a pioneering approach to design education, advancing our programs from regional to national prominence.

β€œThe facility will be a stunning entry point to UK. It is exactly the kind of project Secretary (and former Mayor Jim) Gray and I have discussed often over the years β€” a marriage of form and function that will enhance what we do academically, in service to our state and as a symbol of the inextricable links between Lexington and the university.”
